Your Simple Acts of Kindness

Since my book launched on Amazon this past Tuesday, I have received overwhelming responses from many of you.

I am grateful to have so many wonderful people in my life. I wanted to share my story in the hopes to inspire others going through their own challenges that there is a way to access the light and use it as a buoy in all the darkness out there.

When I began writing, I had those nasty thoughts of self-doubt like "Who am I to write a book, no one will want to read it?” As well as "OMG, this is as vulnerable as you can get, I must be crazy!” Then there were times, when I thought “Maybe this is not a good idea. But I kept getting this tiny nudge, a distinct "feeling" that said, “You must do this!” And I continued to write. That nudge of inspiration came from my true self, my original self, my child self. A child will try anything, because they are not conditioned to care about what other’s think. They play, they create, and have fun doing so. That true self doesn't judge. That self only wants what's best for you.

Since my book came out, I have received several personal notes, thanking me, encouraging me, and appreciating that I had the courage to write my story, full disclosure, in a world that is doing its best to keep us small, to fit in. This robs us of having an amazing life.

The kindness that others have shared, has made this project more than anything I could ever have imagined.

It proves to me that living with integrity while being whole, authentically you, are so worth the fight.
